One of our friendly drivers will pick you up at the airport to take you about 3 hours through rolling hills and enchanting valleys tucked away in lush rainforest. DAY 2 CANYONING OR HANGING BRIDGES, COOKING CLASS

Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring your hotel grounds and building up your energy for this exciting adventure -- We invite you to roam where few people have had the privilege to roam - we take you deep into the Costa Rican rainforest to explore some of Costa Rica's tallest, most-hidden waterfalls - we call "The Lost Canyon."  You will be escorted by professional, bilingual guides who will provide safety instructions and top quality canyoning gear. You will then adventure into the canyon to do a series of waterfall rappels, guided rappels, jumps, down climbing, river tracing and just simply finding yourself in awe of this magical location. After a small hike back up, have a nice, healthy tropical fruit break and make your way down to the El Salto Waterfall and our exclusive Hunters & Gatherer's riverside ranch for a delicious Costa Rican meal! You may also choose to do the Arenal Hanging Bridges with a professional bilingual guide.

Cook Like a Local Costa Rican Cooking Class

The best way to get to know the local culture is by having an adventure in cooking their food. This is your chance to get up close and personal with Costa Rican food by learning about the main ingredients and preparing them with your own hands. You will be cooking along with us a delicious homestyle, traditional "Casado" meal with many of the fresh ingredients coming from our local farm Wrapsodia and sourced from the community nearby. We start off by doing some "mixology" and learn how to make our signature Kiss of the Cacique. Then get the inside scoop on our secret recipes for the best-tasting rice, black beans, chicken fajitas, picadillo vegetable mixture, fresh salad and try your hand at making corn tortillas. The true test is sitting down to an interactive and lively meal with your new friends.

DAY 3 ADVENTURE CONNECTION RIO CELESTE HIKE TO GUANACASTE

Maximize your vacation time by visiting the majestic Rio Celeste waterfall during your hotel transfer! The Rio Celeste National Park is a beautiful 1.5 hour scenic drive from the Arenal Volcano through the rustic Costa Rican back roads. When you reach the Rio Celeste (Tenorio) National Park, you will embark on your 3 hour long hike through the lush rainforest with one of our nature guides who will point out exotic wildlife and vegetation. You are bound to see birds, insects, and sometimes even monkeys and sloths!

Private Transfer From Tamarindo to SJO Airport (San Jose) or Liberia (LIR)

Your chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport. It's about a 4.5-hour drive, so you'll want to plan ahead to get to the airport on time. Your driver is friendly, professional, punctual and always available to provide interesting information as you depart Costa Rica, go shopping for those last souvenirs and make it to your flight on time!

Entry Requirements to Costa Rica for COVID

Entry requirements for tourists:

Those tourists who have already received the COVID-19 vaccine are not exempt from acquiring medical insurance in order to visit Costa Rica in July of 2021.

As of August 1, 2021, all tourists who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and inoculated with Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson can enter the country without a travel policy. The last dose of the vaccine must have been applied at least 14 days before arrival in Costa Rica.
